Seeking advice from an authority figure like a life coach, religious advisor, or mentor is where you are provided with answers to your questions. Therapy is where you are guided through self-exploration about your life and are building a sense of self that you feel confident in your abilities to seek out the right answers on your own.
Online therapy may be a good fit for those that have difficulty leaving home; have limited access to reliable transportation; have an incredibly busy schedule; are in a place with limited to no therapeutic services available.
In person therapy might be a good fit if you enjoy the face-to-face interaction. It's also the default option if online therapy isn't suitable for you. Please contact me and we can talk about what mode of therapy would be a good fit for you.

Yes. Before coming to us, communicate with your insurance provider if they take receipts. If so, you would have to pay the amount in cash or credit card. Then we would provide you with a receipt that you would give to your insurance to receive a reimbursement.

Everything we talk about in session is kept confidential. Your privacy is important to me and the law also protects your privacy as well. Apart from mandated reporting issues such as child abuse, elder abuse, harm to self and others and court orders, I can't disclose your personal information unless I have your written consent.
Client motivation and the therapeutic relationship are important factors to successful treatment. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, by creating a space of authenticity, empathy and honesty. In that space, we would be able to work towards fulfillment of your goals in therapy.
